Hi all, I have a form with a region. I move up and down between the rows using the F7 and F8 keys. As I move up and down, I can watch the cursor change from insert mode (vertical blinking line) to the overwrite mode (Blue rectangle that covers the letter). I prefer the overwrite mode. If I move between the fields/columns the text is almost always hi-lighted. If I use the arrow keys to move to the far left of the text, the high lighting goes away and I get a vertical blinking bar. Hitting the insert key does not change the vertical blinking bar to a hi-lighted blue overwrite rectangle, but it does seem to change the mode from insert to overwrite.
Is this normal or strange behavior? Can I control the insert mode vs overwrite mode with an EEP? Should it be changing with F7 and F8 navigation? Mike
