Sample Application: Understanding R:BASE (NEXT(tblname,autonumcol)) Function

Here's an application that illustrates the simple technique and demonstrates
the practical use of (NEXT(tblname,autonumcol)) function in R:BASE.

Steps:

01. Download the sample applications and then extract all files in a
    separate folder, for example: \NEXTNumb

02. Launch R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32) or R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64) and then
    change the current folder to \NEXTNumb

03. Database Explorer | Command Files | Run File

    RUN NEXTNumb.DAT to start application

    1. Select Customer

    2. Click on [Get NEXT Invoice Number] button

    3. Click on [Insert Row with Next Invoice Number] button

    4. Notice the Invoice Details ...

       Repeat the same steps for another customer and notice the use of
       NEXT function to generate automated invoice numbers.

    5. Click on [Clear All Invoices and Start All Over ...] button, if
       you wish to reset everything and start all over.
