Date Issue 7.6

When we enter a date of let's say 2-5-46 it shows up as 2-5-2046

Current date settings

set date mm/dd/yyyy
set date cent 19
set date year 50

That is the result of your database Century threshold YEAR and the
Default CENTURY settings.

FWIW ...

Try the following and see what you get.

01. CONNECT dbname

02. At the R> Prompt, type exactly as follows, one line at a time:

    SET DATE FORMAT MM/DD/YYYY
    SET DATE SEQUENCE MMDDYY
    SET DATE YEAR 30
    SET DATE CENTURY 19

    SET VAR v1 DATE = 2-5-46

    SHOW VAR v1

It SHOULD be displayed as 02/05/1946

Have fun!
