This can be done, with a certain amount of bad language, using VBScript 
and importing the result into a TEMP table.  I can write something and post it 
to the list in the next day or two if anyone is interested.

True, but sometimes sheets are reorganized without changing the name.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a function to retrieve a list of the sheet names in 
a workbook, in their sheet number order?

FWIW ...

SHEET_INDEX value parameter is the bullet-proof identifier to specify a 
specific sheet of the spreadsheet file, starting with 0.

In addition, very consistent without having to worry about the name that could 
be misspelled, duplicated, and/or any name that makes no sense in the R:BASE 
world.
