Karen,

RMail includes an "editor" that allows you to do all sort of formatting.
The only problem that I have noticed, is that some email systems (read
at the receiving end) interpret the email weirdly and present a screen
of gibberish upon opening.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - 9.5 RMail question

I haven't used 9.5 RMail yet. A client has a question about whether to buy
it, and I don't want to promise something that cannot be done.

Right now we're using the "print... email on" to send an email that says
"open the attached document", which is a beautiful RBase report printed as a
PDF file. Lots of formatting, boxes with data in it. Now they are asking
if that report can actually be the message of the email rather than an
attachment. So I'd need lots of fonts, attributes, pull in data from a
record, etc. Is that possible? If someone has a print-screen of an email
that does this it would be greatly appreciated. I have a meeting with them
on Tuesday. (Although I'll be out of town Thurs - Sat so may not respond
here til Sunday).

Thanks!

Karen
