Had anyone problems running Rbase database in Windows Server 2012, when
there are several users connected?
When the second user connects my aplication, to first and second users
becomes very, very slow.
I read some topics about oportunisc locking, and my question is: can be
that feature of Windows Server and client the reason of the slow behavior?
Someone have some experience on that and any clue to the resolution of it?
Any sugestion is welcome.
JĂșlio,
If you are using Windows Server 2012, why not take advantage of the
following features:
. MS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
. MS Virtual Desktop Access (VDA)
. MS Hyper-V on Windows 2012 Server
For a dedicated VDI host environment (i.e. a host environment with
virtualized desktop workloads only), Microsoft Hyper-V Server is a
good virtualization platform.
One of my BIG government clients have recently made the switch to run
all R:BASE applications on Hyper-V and I am so pleased to see a very
complex & mission critical R:BASE application running on such a cool
and robust environment (www.rbasecloud.com).
If you need more details or would like to see a live demonstration,
let me know and I will send you an invite. http://join.me/RazzakMemon
