After sweeping through ALL tables, ALL views, ALL eeps; using all tools available, column OLDNAME is not to be found. The code which creates the variable containing OLDNAME has long since been revised with NEWNAME. Upon entering the one form (with no EEPs) where this variable feeds one Variable Edit control, I receive the message: Column or variable OLDNAME not found (2515). This survives exiting R:Base; also unloading, deleting and reloading the form. Clues?? Bruce
