Thanks Razzak;
I would assume that running Rbase on each work station, accessing the DB
on a server, that the default browser
would be the one on the work station. I am running the latest Firefox.
Do not get the error message if I
use LAUNCH command, but do when using the Rbase variable browser. Strange.
Anyway, have it working just fine.

Hi Razzak;
I am using the Rbase variable browser. Works perfectly, but even
being rebuilt
in 9.5 still gives the error message. I could launch firefox instead,
perhaps
thats the best route. Can still do that from within our order form
and return.
Dick,
Technically, R:BASE Variable Web Browser control in R:BASE Forms still
utilizes
the underlying default web browser on your workstation or network
server (when
running the application as terminal services or R:BASE Cloud).
Updating the default Web Browser on workstation(s) or network
server(s) with
the latest security updates should fix that specific warning message(s).

We are currently moving to a web based credit card system.
When I take a current Rbase brower, (probably designed in 9.1, 5
years ago)
modify it with the stuff I need and log into the credit card site,
I get the
following message:
Your browser is out of date. It has known security flaws and
disadvantages
and soon will no longer be supported by the Synapse Gateway.
Perhaps I need to start a new form now that we are using 9.5.
Really want to access this right from our order form.
Suggestions ?
Dick,
Without knowing all details, what are the exact dynamics of your
order form?
Are you using the R:BASE Web Browser Control or simply launching the
browser
with some parameters?
If you are LAUNChing the external web browser, such as MS IE,
Mozilla FireFox,
or Google Chrome, you may need to update the web browser(s)
accordingly.
Hope that provides you with some blue's clues ...
