[RBASE-L] - Report: System DATE Variable Formatting

All:

 

I have two simple reports. 

 

Each has a DATE system variable in the Page Footer.

 

Each variable is of Variable type "Date".

 

One report prints out the date as "January 31, 2014".

 

The other prints out the date as "01/31/2014".

 

R>show date

DATE format MM/DD/YYYY

DATE sequence MMDDYY

...

 

There are no formatting strings in any of the report EEPs.

 

Why the variance, and where do I control this format?
