It must be since if I make changes to forms or reports, the compiled
version we all use has those changes.

I incorporated changes just this week in other areas and have had no
problems.

I am just going to lay this aside for a few days.

Sometimes sleeping on things eventually clears the problem up.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Jim,

I hate to ask this, but is your shortcut pointing to the correct
compiled version?

I look at the compiled additional resources under the reports
and the
report has the same version, date and size as the DB version. If
I add
changes to the form with the button that prints the report,
those
changes appear in the compiled exe.
Prior to this problem, I made changes to other reports and those
changes
showed up while running in the compiled exe.
My DB just decided it does not like that particular report.

Of course I say that in jest. I realize there is an explanation
and
appreciate all the good suggestions I have received.
I am sure I will find the problem.
I am just happy this does not happen often and this report is
not used
        by others often.

        Jim,

I would add an obvious note to a report that is working and make
sure
you are getting the new reports in the compiled version.

        Jim,

You stated "Even though I include the reports and forms within
the
        application"

When you fix a report, you need to make sure you "re-embed" the
report
        before

compiling. The compiler does not automatically include any
reports or
        forms

        that you make changes to.

           Thanks, Razzak.

I have been trying all the obvious things such as recompiling
the exe with all the reports and forms involved.

This is just one of those situations where it works in the
explorer but not the compiled app.

Even though I include the reports and forms within the
        application.

           Jim,,

           IFWIW...

If your compiled application includes all reports or forms,
you
may need to update all resources, including updated reports,
etc.
