Dear R:BASE Community,

The RBASE-L Users Group is to be used for productive exchanges between subscribers to discuss R:BASE technical and non-technical issues related to programming, applications and the like.

The RBASE-L Mailing List has been around for a while, goes to people from all over the world and of all ages. For this reason, we strive to maintain some decorum.

We ask that members please avoid the following:

  . Strong or offensive language
  . Content-free Ping tests
  . Any virus warnings
. Forwarded messages with LOTS OF CAPITALS AND EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!
  . Petitions
. Why Computers Are Like Men/Women
. Any chain letter. At all.
. Posting private email to the whole list without permission.

Please note that most, if not all, of these things are considered bad netiquette on the Internet, and that doing so risks losing your "privilege" to use the mailing list.

We also ask that all members be respectful of one another, even if you think they're not being respectful of you. Debate, but avoid arguments.

Take the high road. Set an example. Make your momma proud.

When you do encounter a list member behaving badly, please send an email to [email protected] and we'll deal with the problem.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
