Tom:

We are working on Sunday ... why?

R:Style Setup > General Tab > Indenting > Smart Code Wrapping

If Smart Code Wrapping is 'Disabled', the width bar is suppressed.

Change 'Disabled' to 'Single Column' or 'Double Column' and the width bar
appears.

BTW: Disabling 'Structure Indenting' allows you to preserve whatever
indentation you like on the business end of the line.

Cheers,

Bruce

Tom, open the R:Style LOCAL or Global settings. I use the internal R:Style
so, I open the editor, click the R:Style settings icon, top right, second
tool bar from the top. I use both double and single quotes depending on the
application I am working on, so I always use the local setup

In the middle of the setting screen, first page, you find the line width
bar. Set it to 78 and you will be good to go.

I think I saw a post on how to setup Rstyle where you can keep the
formatting the same eg

INSERT INTO custtranstemp
(custrans,custdate,homephone,firstname,lastname,custcash,+
cashflag,checknum,custcredit,creditflag,creditused,creditbal,empid,custitems
tat,tagprint,+
and so on

when I run Rstyle it does

INSERT INTO custtranstemp
(custrans,custdate,homephone,firstname,lastname,custcash,cashflag,checknum,c
ustcredit,creditflag,creditused,creditbal,empid,custitemstat,tagprint,

I want to keep the originally formatting
