1) when I start with txt1,2,3 to align top it works, but they react like

Fritz,
No worries!
Place everything for the first layer (stack) within a container, for example,
Enhanced Group Box with the align property as "Top".
Then, place the second stack, your Enhanced DB Grid with the align property
as "Top".
That should keep everything in perspective.
