Is your command in a RBASE report?
If yes, this is the embedded code I use:
In order for this to work properly, you will need to know the exact version of
adobe.
The path is set to a variable vpartpath.
SET VAR vprintstring = +
('C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe|/p /h'&.vpartpath)
LAUNCH .vprintstring
CLS

What is the best way to print a PDF file?
I tried the command
LAUNCH CMD_PRINT | filename.PDF | W | HIDE
but after printing Acrobat Reader is not closed and the Rbase remains locked.
I have to manually close the PDF document and at this point the Rbase unlocks.
