Albert I use Parallels for Mac with windows XP. It runs my Rbase 9.5 and Quickbooks Pro software really well. I had problems at first, until I figured out it works much better when you exit coherence (in the Parallels menu bar).
I can now run Rbase 9.5 just as if I was on a PC, even file Gateway works (except it won¹t export to a dbase file). With Parallels you can have several Mac and windows programs open at once, and you can easily navigate between them, cut and paste between Mac and PC... And both the control key and the command key work for your copy, paste, etc. commands. I keep my databases on the Mac, not the windows drive. Parallels mounts your Mac drives as network drives, so Rbase can open them without any problems. By the way, I use (32) only because I¹m still converting DOS databases to windows, but as soon as I¹m finished converting to windows, I will switch to (64) and it will work on Parallels. I hope this is helpful. Fatima NeJame On 6/3/14, 8:41 PM, "A. Razzak Memon" <[email protected]> wrote: >At 03:36 PM 6/3/2014, Bruce A.
