I'm still having this issue where if I leave my laptop for a while (which is plugged in, not on battery, non-networked) and my screen saver kicks in, version 9.5 32-bit of RBase will hang and I have to close it down.
Someone here pointed me to a power setting for "Turn the hard disk off" and I changed that to "never" but it still happens. My "sleep" and "hibernate" while plugged in is also set to "never". Drives me crazy because I keep losing my temp tables and have to start over! I'm also sorta worried that some client might have a setting that would cause the same thing to happen to them and I'd like to know how to stop it from happening! Appreciate any advice! Karen
