Mike,
The RBASE-L List Server is not the proper channel for discussing R:BASE
bug reports and enhancement requests. This includes your own personal
perception of an issue, which may unintentionally cause unnecessary
overreactions to others in the R:BASE Community, due to a possible error
within your internal configuration.
Although bringing up those items on the List Server is a great way to
discuss workarounds for issues, and the overall usefulness of feature
requests, there is a separate system established for reporting bugs and
enhancement requests.
If you experience something you think might be a bug, please report it
to the R:BASE eXtreme Developers' Corner Crew. In R:BASE, the R:DCC
Client is fully integrated to communicate with the R:BASE development
team. From the main Menu Bar, choose "Help" > "RBG9 R:DCC Client". If
you do not have a login profile, select "New User" to create one.
You will need to describe:
. What you did, what happened, and what you expected to happen
. The product version and build
. Any error messages displayed
. What computer operating system is in use
. Anything else you think might be relevant
If you have a sample you wish to provide, have the files prepared within
a zip archive prior to initiating the bug report. You will be prompted to
upload any attachments during the submission process.
Alternatively, users can send an e-mail to mailto:[email protected]
The above information is provided in all R:BASE Technologies product help
documentation and PDF manuals, and incidentally been repeated on this
RBASE-L List Server considerably.
Any subscribers failure to follow these simple instructions will result in
loss of RBASE-L List Server privileges.
Sincerely,
John Minyo II

Installed latest update of eXtreme 9.5. Since installation I have gotten
a number of error messages to the effect that there may be index file
corruption.
This is followed by an I/O error message.
Thoughts or suggestions?
