Richard, Did you know that you can use the "Rotated Label" control in Report/Label designer to achieve your goal? While in Report/Label designer select the "Rotated Label" from the list of "Standard Controls". Once placed with appropriate caption, right-click on the control to the select Angle and then enter the degree to "Rotate at:". Make sure to use any "TrueType" font with the capability to rotate.
