Mohammed,

If you are connecting MS Excel to R:BASE 9.5 database, simply to read the
data, you may use the native R:BASE ODBC driver to do so.

R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 ODBC driver does not support updates, deletes, or inserts
done with a positioned cursor, while Oterro 9.5 does.

However, if more functionality is required, I recommend to use the Oterro
9.5 driver to access R:BASE database. www.oterro.com

To itemize ...

The R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (RBG95) ODBC driver only supports the following
commands through SQLExec:

         CLEAR:
         DECLARE:
         DELETE:
         INSERT:
         SELECT:
         SET:
         UPDATE:

The Oterro 9.5 driver supports the above commands plus the following:

         ALTER:
         APPEND:
         ATTACH:
         AUTOCHK:
         AUTONUM:
         CALL:
         COMMENT:
         CREATE:
         DETACH:
         DROP:
         GET:
         GRANT:
         IF:
         INPUT:
         LAUNCH:
         LOAD:
         OUTPUT:
         PACK:
         PROJECT:
         PUT:
         RENAME:
         REVOKE:
         REVOKE:
         RULES:
         SATTACH:
         SCONNECT:
         SDETACH:
         SDISCONNECT:
         UNLOAD:
         WHILE:

Very Best R:egards,
