Tips on Deploying/Running R:Compiled Applications in a Cloud Environment:

01. When using R:Compiled 9.5 applications in a cloud environment on
MS Windows Server 2012 R2, make sure to include all updated R:BASE
    eXtreme 9.5 engine DLLs (RBENGINE95_32.DLL or RBENGINE95_64.DLL)
    along with your compiled EXEs.

02. Teach your R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 cloud application users to logout
when done. If cloud users accidently leave R:BASE sessions running,
it can often be very difficult to kill them so you can access your
server and perform your database maintenance. Many of the tricks
you commonly use on servers simply don't work in a cloud environment.
In short, always explicitly logout of your Cloud RDP sessions.

03. Install R:BASE Admin (9.5) on Cloud Server to manage any open R:BASE
    connections/sessions.

04. Use R:BASE TIMEOUT setting to close an inactive R:BASE session after
a set amount of time passes.

    For more details, HELP TIMEOUT

05. Use R:BASE WINAUTH setting that is specific to R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64)
to validate application access in a Cloud environment.

    For more details HELP WINAUTH

Have fun developing and deploying speedy R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 Applications!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
