Razzak,

Ok. In my case I can't do that as people are accessing Oterro during web 
sessions.
I have noticed a whole lot of .$$$ files as well that I occasionally need to 
clean up.

I can't place your suggestion anywhere (I think) as these are web sessions but
the sessions are definitely not exiting cleanly.

Now put the following code in your application exit procedure and move on.

SET ERROR MESSAGE 2077 OFF
DELETE *.$$$
SET ERROR MESSAGE 2077 ON

Make sure to include the correct DEFAULT/SCRATCH folder for .$$$ files.

That should take care of all your left over .$$$ scratch file(s).
