FYI:

 

If you run into DOS-in-Windows issues fairly often, may I recommend a DOS 
shell: “TakeCommand” from JPSoft.

 

There’s a license cost; they’ve been around since the mid-1980’s and there’s 
just about nothing you can’t do; you can even automate system maintenance 
functions.

 

It’s a great place to test out all non-R:BASE command structures before you 
bring them in for LAUNCHing.
