To All R:BASE X Enterprise and Oterro X Enterprise Users:
Those who are using Oterro X Enterprise as a beta, or have already
pre-purchased the
R:BASE and Oterro X Enterprise software products (Corporate and
government customers),
we suggest you take advantage of the 64-bit ODBC driver, that are
bundled with the
32-bit ODBC driver.
As a new precedent for R:BASE Technologies, the official releases of
R:BASE X Enterprise
and Oterro X Enterprise will include the dual architecture (64-bit
and 32-bit) ODBC
drivers.
The R:BASE X Enterprise and Oterro X Enterprise 64-bit ODBC drivers
allow third-party
native 64-bit programs and applications to access R:BASE X Enterprise
databases in a
true 64-bit environment.
All Web applications deployed on MS Windows 2012 R2, accessing R:BASE
X Enterprise
databases should be re-configured to use the native Oterro X
Enterprise (64-bit) ODBC
driver. Users will notice improved access and performance by
configuring the DSN and
ODBC access to use the Oterro X Enterprise (64-bit) ODBC driver for
all R:BASE X
Enterprise databases.
