How does one specify "nothing" as the arg3 "value" in an IFEXISTS 
function?

(IFEXISTS(TextArg1,TextArg2, ??? ))

(IFEXISTS(TextArg1,TextArg2, ' ' )) --<Space>

...introduces an unwanted <space>. TRIM cannot be applied in my specific 
circumstance.

(IFEXISTS(TextArg1,TextArg2, '' )) --No <space>

...produces error message 2155: "The first and last two arguments for 
IFEXISTS must be the same type."


Can't say I've ever asked R:BASE to do nothing.
