Dear R:BASE Community,
A new power feature added to the Data Browser/Editor in R:BABASE X for
Windows is the
"Update Query" menu option, which allows users to modify the displayed
dataset or query
results, directly from within the Data Browser.
Users are no longer required to close the Data Browser, modify their
query/view, and
launch the results again.
The Update Query feature displays the current SELECT query syntax for the
dataset, that
can be altered within the window, or modified using the WHERE Builder.

The Update Query window can be also displayed using the [Ctrl+Q] key
combination.
The EDIT and BROWSE commands were enhanced for the new Update Query
feature, allowing
administrators to enable/disable the menu option (UPDATE_QUERY ON/OFF), if
needed.
