[RBASE-L] - Storing EML data

All:

Am thinking of extracting individual emails into .EML (ASCII text) 
files, storing in R:BASE.

The primary purpose is text string search; preserving visual formatting 
is not important.

Which data type would be more suitable: VarChar or BLOB?
