I don’t think that’s right Buddy.  I can’t lay my hands on the syntax at the 
moment, but when the form that is called has a componentID, you should be able 
to manipulate any property of that form, including a custom form action.

   Custom Form Action is only available while using that form. It will not 
carry down. If you want to use it with other forms I would suggest creating a

I really like the custom form actions and my question is-do the defined form 
actions carry on to the child forms and beyond.  eg I define the custom form 
action in my main form from which I select another form, will that action carry 
on down.
