I have changed the font in Forms to Arial, but when I go to design a DB
grid it does not default to Arial, so I have to change each column to
Arial. What am I doing wrong.
Use the "Parent" property to follow "Parent Font".
Here's how:
While in Form Designer, "right-click" on the DB-Grid or Enhanced DB-Grid
control and then select "Parent Font".
You can also change the font for all associated DB-Grid/Enhanced DB-Grid
columns at once by using the following technique:
01. Right-Click on DB-Grid/Enhanced DB-Grid control and select Object Property
02. Select [Columns] tab
03. Highlight and select all columns associated with the grid (bottom panel)
04. Right-Click on the highlighted portion and select Column Properties
05. Select Font ...
06. Select the appropriate Font, Font-Style, Size, Effects, and Color
07. Click on [OK] button to save your selection of font
08. Click on [Apply] button to apply changes to all selected columns
09. Click on [OK] button to close
That's all there is to it!
