Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Form Designer - Form Size
I found a way to work with this for the time being.
I changed my monitor resolution to 1680 x 1050. (Not a long term
working resolution!)
I started RBase and created a "blank form" of the size I needed... 750
x 1000.
I then saved the "blank" form. Changed my screen resolution back to
1024 x 768.
Started RBase, opened the newly created "Blank" form in the designer
and I now have a
750 x 1000 form to work with. I clicked the autoscroll box and I can
scroll up and down the
entire form at my workable resolution of 1024 x 768.
I added a On after Start eep to maximize the form and all seems to be
working.

I've been designing an application for displaying chains of
VARBIT-stored email extracts, for which a rotated form capability would
be superb.

I have an application where I am going to rotate the monitor 90
degrees.
So the screen size is 1024 x 768 instead of the normal 1024 x 768.
The Windows display works fine with this setting.
I now want to design a form for this monitor that is 1000x750.
However,
I cannot set the form size to this on my development PC.
It seems that the form designer will only allow form sizes up to the
monitor size on the development PC.
How does one develop a form size for a rotated display such as this?
