I would appreciate any advice on the following issues that I cannot resolve.

I have a report which has a subreport in the detail section. This is based
on a view which has one column in common with the main report and a variable
number of rows (the view is updated for each detail row as a before generate
eep). The problem I have is that when I have more than one row in the view
only one will print.

I also find that if I print the report for each plant item individually as
pri AG_AHU_IND_PORT where pref contains 'ahu1/2'
the sub report is printed, (albeit with only one row), however if I use
pri AG_AHU_IND_PORT where pref contains 'ahu1/'
there is no sub report appearing for ahu1/2.
I have the number of passes set to 2 and I am using XE.
I have tried many 'options' all to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions
as to what I may have wrong they would be most appreciated.

John,

Without knowing all details and the layout of the report and sub-report,
make sure that all sub-report details are also placed under the [Detail]
band of the sub-report.

Keep in mind that when printing a report with sub-report, the WHERE clause
is always pertinent to the Master table.

For a sample report to illustrate the use of such technique take a close
look at the sample "CustomerContacts" report included with RRBYW19.

Database: RRBYW19
Report..: CustomerContacts
Associated Tables: Customer, Contact
Common Column....: CustID

Hope that provides you with some blue's clues ...

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak
