I was in the processes of fixing a mistake in a query and tried to check
my progress by opening the query to view the data. In doing so, the R:BASE
became unresponsive and my pc prompted me to close the program. Upon reopen
and reconnecting to the database, one of the table involved in the query
had duplicated itself, but with a different name "56da0c5f". I get the
following error when trying to delete the table:
-ERROR- This table is referenced by a Foreign Key - unable to drop table.
I am not able to find where the table is referenced.
Any suggestions?
Kaleb,
Got R:Scope X or R:Scope X Enterprise?
If not ...
01. Make sure that your upgraded/converted database includes the correct
database settings for IDQUOTES.
SHOW CHARACTERS
Look for the very last line for IDQUOTES
If blank, then, set the IDQUOTES setting as follows:
SET IDQUOTES='`'
Notice the "reversed quote" symbol (on the same key with tilde ~),
surrounded by single quotes (based on your database setting for QUOTES).
Then, either delete the table using the Database Explorer or DROP TABLE
command.
For complete details, refer to: HELP DROP
02. You may also remove any reference to ghost table by UNLOADing the
entire database SCHEMA to a file and then editing the file accordingly.
