Forgot to say thanks for the code tip. I have used it and it works good to
format them.

Dan
Have you tried something like this using FORMAT

SET VAR V1 CURRENCY = (812.24)

SET VAR V2 = ('$'+(TRIM((CTXT(FORMAT(V1,'9,999,990.00'))))))

Subject: [RBASE-L] - display currency format on variable labels

Using rbase 9.5...

I have my currency format at 4 digits for more accuracy on costing.

Some of my forms I want the currency on my variable labels to show 2 digits.

So I added the format $#,0.00;($#,0.00) to the "display format for non-text
variables in the label properties but it still shows 4 digits.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to display only 2 digits in a variable
label in a report?

TIA
