In Tango, you have a different model:  you are really in client/server 
mode.  Oterro could be serving multiple client workstation/users from 
the same database connection, or, conversely (perversely) could use 
two different connections for successive hits from the same 
browser/workstation.  So a temporary table may not be visible to the 
same user on a second command, or could be confused between two 
users.

Oterro will create and manipulate a temporary table just fine but from 
Tango, I think you will have to use permanent tables, and distinguish 
the users through data values.
