I am as anxious as you and thousands of other R:BASE 2000
(ver 6.5) users to get their hands on the upcoming UPGRADE
version of R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++).
Hundreds of active beta testers have been beating the
living day lights out of TGRB2000 version 6.5++ beta since
the private release in late January 2001.
The shipping version will not be released until it passes
all cross-checks and the clearance from our CURRENT & ACTIVE
beta testers.
FYI, the first private beta (1.840axRT03) was released on
January 28, 2001 and the last private beta (1.840hxRT03) was
released on March 26, 2001.
Interim private beta with few special features (1.840ixRT03)
has been tested by few big clients with mission-critical
application since April 16, 2001.
A final Pre-Release version is being fine-tuned as I write
this e-mail, and should be in the hands of our active and
dedicated beta testers before the end of this month.
Yes, I'm sitting here with one of our KEY R:Team members and
trying to finalize the list of final features to be included
in the release version! ... And, of course, I am having FUN.
Once we get the feedback, we should be able to announce the
exact release date of The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++)!
