keep in mind that the base is a view. Relational aspects have to be set.
(1*2*4*8*16*32 etc.). In order to keep performance at high level and the
fact that indexes have to be managed properly, makes (in my humble opinion)
that a five-table limit is a maximum. You jump from 16 to 32 when expanding
the limit with one table extra. I can imagine this list from that moment -->
R:Base performs badly, slow etc.

I solve this by updating the sixth table from an EEPS. In other events I
quit the form by using a macro, thereby KEEPING the form-variables, call
another form and then return to the original form triggered by the kept
variables.

What I am trying to say is that you have to be a very experienced user to
handle 6+ table forms. The limit of five tables is (I think) a limit set by
RBTI to give all (also new) users a proper chance/protection
.
