Mike,

The quickbooks on-line help details how the import files need to be 
formatted.  R:Base can create these directly.  I've done it several 
times.  EMail me privately if the help screens don't get you going in the 
right direction.

Sometimes it's helpful to do a quickbook export of the same data you 
intend to import, so that you can "reverse engineer" the fine points.

Be sure you SET EOFCHAR OFF in R:Base.
