I have come across a great utility that finds spyware hidden on you computer
that was placed there without you knowledge or permission. I am very
security concious running mcafee and zone alarm pro and it still found 55
spy programs runnin on my system.
if you are saying well i'll put up with it because the service is free, well
think of the bandwidthe spyware takes from your computer and internet
connection. I checked the system resources on one system right after startup
and it was 78%, I ran ad-aware, if found 90 leeches and killed them, I
rebooted, and resouces were up to 86%, that's 8% of the system resouces used
by spyware.
