It's actually called Uniform Naming Convention in a lot of circles.. It
means instead of having a path/drive predefined as K:\databases\mydb.rb1
and K would have to be mapped on a machine, you could use
"\\server1\databases\mydb.rb1" in calls etc...  I ran into this problem
just yesterday.. I was creating a shortcut to Rbase on a Win2000 machine
and it was using a path for the Start In property that was defined as a
UNC like \\SERV2\RBTI\RBWIN  and I had to change it to K:\blah blah and
create the Mapping to get RBase to work correctly..

At least this is what I done to get it to work... I'm not sure if it was
the mapping of K:... or the Start In path that fixed the problem... I
was getting a Unable to Connect to Database error..
