Firstly, thanks for the full writeup on the proper process.
I know how much time this stuff takes to write up.
I have a vague recollection of it but never printed it out and posted it
on my wall as a procedure to be followed before submitting a report.
I will do that now.

Secondly, this is undoubtedly the more politically correct and
in-PR way to handle it but I would like to tender the following:

It seems that there are a few of us who fall into the
category of being fully aware that despite our best endeavour
at perfection we still fall short of attaining it. Some of us (I'll
put me at the top of this list, probably the only thing I chance
a gold medal in life at) are infinitely more concerned with
productivity and reducing frustration than maintaining a false
impression in others of our perfection. I know I have insufficient
attention on maintaining a personal PR level compared with truth,
workability, productivity et al which is why you'll never see a
"Vote Tom Grimshaw" banner anywhere.

Bottom line is, if it meant a faster solution for me and an easier
task for RBTI, I'll wear my errors being exposed for all to see -
who knows, someone else might think,"I've made that mistake
too. Thanks Tom, I'll go fix it now."

Not trying to direct any warm yellow liquid into anyone's pocket
here but the members of this list exemplify an incredibly generous
spirit of help and cooperation with a complete lack of recrimination
or condemnation of another's mistakes.

But I understand that other's who have a more well developed sense
of PR than I may not wish to air their dirty laundry in public. So
what I propose is that each developer on RDCC be able to flag their
record as to Public/Private regarding their posts and that each can
search on his own or those flagged as Public.

Warmest regards,

Tom Grimshaw
