Keyboard buffer problem?

A client noticed that when they have both 6.5+ DOS and
6.5+ Windows active, that there are times when the DOS
version appears to 'freeze'.  A couple minutes later,
all your keystrokes come streaming back.  They say that
as soon as RBWin is closed, it never happens again.
Has anyone experienced this?  They are connecting with
different rbase.cfg's, different names.
