Emmitt,
Our system detected this yesterday. I am not sure what triggered it since we
were not using any of the files from the conference CD. Don't know what this
DLL does, but we deleted it from the system. We are still looking into the
situation.
Any help or info appreciated.
Best Regards,

Subject: Possible Virus
The latest Mcafee DAT file is identifying a file CHKDIR.DLL dated
10/21/2000 as a backdoor trojan. This DLL was distributed on the
conference CD as part of Robert Rugilo's presentation. The documentation
on the conference CD describes the function of the dll as checking for the
existence of a directory.
Can anyone confirm or refute Mcafee's finding? What is it about the DLL,
which I would not expect to be a trojan, that Mcafee finds distasteful?
