Ken,

<You sure might have the best! But I got some fine ones down here as well.
Then again, as a rancher/farmer, I know the difference between having pride
in what I do (and doing the best I can) versus thinking mine are the "best
in the world" regardless.>

If you don't like being on my porch!
Listening to the excitement or my cheering about my watermelons!
You can go to my neighbors house and talk about me and my watermelons!
(He'll most likely say that I do have good watermelons but I stands by what
I grow and I do it my way.
Also I'm the one he'd call for help if he needs it for anything and I'll be
there for him)!
or you can sit with us and enjoy the watermelons and have some fun!
I'll continue doing whatever makes me happy and as long as it doesn't harm
anyone else(unless they eat too much of my watermelons)!
I'm like a kid in a candy store, enjoying every moment from planting to
mouthful!
Also, enjoy sharing these good experiences with all of my family and friends
(fellow growers too)!
Your welcome any time, if you are ever in the area, to visit and you'll find
out that it's the same way here as there!

Best regards,

Oma
(Mississippian 8th generation)

P.S.
We don't have to use any titles here either!
What matters are the facts not opinions! "The proof is in the puttin!"
I'm still going to tell you what I think! Like it or not and pride has
nothing to do with it!
Sounds like we could argue about how far you could throw a cow clip vs. how
far I can spit seeds!
Which I do both very well!
:-)
