Title: RE: New Phone Command
Hi Rich,

This sound a lot like when Microrim introduce the Bankers Rounding Function (BRND) the three letter short form was BRN which one of my clients used BRN for Branch Name Quite extensively.

I Had to rename the column and change a lot of reports.

I Had to remember during this process, that Inovation and Change comes with some Pain (sometimes a lot).
Yet, They could have been a little nicer and not picked a name that is probably used often...

Albert,

You're right ! Setting ansi off allows me to use "phone" as a column name.
But, do I really want run with ansi set to off?

Hi All,
Oops ....
Using 6.5++  build 1.840k. In multiple tables we have a column named
"PHONE". Now that "PHONE" is a reserved word due to the new phone command,
we are getting error messages when we try to change the database structure.
Just thought I'd pass this along just in case someone else used  "PHONE" as
a column name. Never thought that Rbase would have a phone command ... but
