Ben,

It's been a long while but I think there was something rather
counter-intuitive in fixing the filesize. RScope tells you what the
filesize is and what it thinks it should be. I think you have likely
adjusted to what it thinks it should be but, IIRC, you need to tell it
what it is. Anyway, whatever you did, try the opposite.
