FYI, we sent a copy to RBTI and Mike replicated the problem today.  However,
unlike us, he managed to have the same trouble on an NT 4.0 server.  Our
tests on an NT 4.0 did not show the problem.  Kinda points at an obscure
configuration setting, methinks - you?
