Jim,

01. Using The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows:

    GATEWAY EXPORT DB3P A:XLData.DBF SELECT * FROM TXLData

    LAUNCH A:KeyMacro.XLS

    No need to use ZIP command!

02. Using The R:edoubtable R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for DOS:

    If using Win95/98/Me:

    ZIP COMMAND.COM /C START Batchfile.bat

    If using WinNT/2000:

    ZIP CMD.EXE /C START Batchfile.bat

    You could automate the detection of operating system by
    using (ENVVAL('COMSPEC')).

Have Fun!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
