I've got a NFR copy of Oterro 2.0 (single seat allowing only one user connection at a time to the DB via Oterro). If you do this would explain the running of your Rbase DOS connection to the DB and getting an error attempting to connect to the DB via your VB application. The other way Oterro must put the Database into a single user mode limiting your access if the VB application has control via Oterro. Check this out for a better overview of the Licenses for Oterro 2.0. http://www.oterro2000.com/OtPricing.htm Spreadsheet to determine you license requirement. http://www.oterro2000.com/OtWkSht.HTM After running the spreadsheet above you'd need a 5 seat licenses to do what you want to do! Best regards, Oma
