Hello Everyone,
I am getting very concern with Tango and its ability to remain a viable Intranet
solution in the future. For the past year I have been working very hard with my
customers and potential customers in the deployment of Intranet solutions using
RBase and Tango. The owner of the product has made a posting in the obituary
and wants nothing to do with users of their product. We sit here with a product
in a situation similar to RBase with Microrim and it is very possible that it
will not find a Razzak to save it.
Should I as a developer, continue to sink my time and my customer's money in a
platform that in the near future cannot be purchased? I would not mind
switching to another product if it becomes necessary, but I insists on using a
product that is supported and endorsed by the database engine I use.
I would like very much if this topic is raised and discussed during one of the
midnight sessions at the RBase conference in October.
