Thank you Oma, William and Michael:
It looks as though I will have to put the variable on the form instead of
the column. Better yet I like Oma's idea of a separate table and use the
autoPopUp. I can list all the information I need to populate the columns
from one table.
This is a great list with a lot of fine people. Thanks again for all the
advise.
