Hi Mike,
I am sorry to say that you are at the will of the sender.

I noticed you are using an older version of netscape and it's email software
is having trouble digesting the content so I creates an Attachment and
informs
you that it has no idea what it is.

Possible remedies...
1. upgrade to newer version of E:Mail software.
2. the other one is to ask all on the list to set the email software to
plain text for sending.

This has been driving me nuts for a while....time to ask for help. Some
of the mail I get, including mail from this list server appears to be
just plain old easy to read ascii text files that are instantly visible
and readable the moment I open the mail. Other times, I get some goofy
looking box with meaningless to me info in it, that I have to click on,
as if it were an attachment....it looks something like this.....

I'm using Netscape 4.71 for my email.
Can anybody explain what is happening, and how to make it go away??

A million thanks for your indulgence!!
